About Us & Our Team
We're an independent, eclectic furniture and homeware store based in the heart of the Cotswolds. Although we're a relatively small business, our ambitions and passion for culturally inspired design take us all over the globe. We are professional collectors who love nothing more than exploring distant countries and buying stunning pieces directly from artisans and artists, before bringing them home to share with you. We believe that different is beautiful, which is why we often sell one-of-a-kind pieces or limited unique ranges. Here at Cotswold Grey, we have a dedicated and friendly team, all with a passion for interiors as well as great customer service. Whether you’re popping in for a browse or you’re after expert styling tips for your home, you’ll always be greeted with a smile and friendly service.
Our Store
Our Flagship store sits right on Moreton-in-Marsh High Street in the Cotswolds, with a lovely traditional shop front. Once an old Ironmongers, this lovingly renovated space is now a sweeping 16,000 square foot showroom with a spacious atrium gallery, a courtyard garden and two additional exterior buildings all filled to the brim with inspiring furniture and homeware. Styled and seasonal, our range includes large and small furniture, upholstered items, soft furnishings, home accessories, lighting, tableware, artwork, garden pieces, faux flowers as well as small gifts and cards. Every item is in stock and can be taken away on the day should you wish to.
Branching Out
In 2019 we opened a concession store at Redbrick Mill in Yorkshire. Originally a converted mill at Batley, Redbrick is a leading specialist department store for furniture and interiors. It is home to over forty carefully chosen stores, featuring many of the very best brand names including Heal’s, Made.com, BoConcept, Hülsta, Natuzzi, Calligaris and Sofas & Stuff. Our Cotswold Grey showroom is located on the second floor and boasts a wide selection of sumptuous sofas, rustic dining tables, vintage cabinets and dressers, hand-made ceramics, tableware, candles, wall art and mirrors, a hand-made rug collection and much, much more. We love being in amongst other inspiring interior specialists, and we often have market stalls at events in and around the Cotswolds too. So far, we've been involved in Cheltenham Races, the House & Garden Festival, the Moreton-in-Marsh Show and Daylesford Christmas Fair.
Our Online Store
Our growing online store hopes to bring the same individual style to those a little further afield. Although it may be less tactile than a wander through our store, we try to still inspire with our ever-changing catalogue of items, decorating hints and styling tips on the blog, and regular updates on our social channels.
Our Sister Company
Our passion for beautiful interiors has also taken us into designing stunning accommodation in the Cotswolds, through our sister company Luxury Cotswold Retreats. Just like our Flagship store, each of our properties has been carefully renovated and filled with our favourite furnishings, providing the perfect base to explore the Cotswolds and swing by our store.
